The training guide includes an outline for a one-day
workshop to train parent educators and family support
workers to use the Workbook for facilitators
in parenting courses, with parent groups, and with parents.

The Workbook for facilitators pack can be
purchased independently. It is designed for practitioners
running parenting courses or working with parents and

The basic Users' handbook pack offers an introduction
to mymumanddadarguealot
and is intended for individuals or to be used in informal
settings, such as parent-led groups. It contains:

Brief
Encounters®
Parents of young children in particular are under
a lot of pressure - and relationships can suffer.
Health professionals can really make a difference
- and are usually 'turned to' when people encounter
problems at home.
Through using our Brief Encounters® brief intervention
model, practitioners will gain the confidence to:

Four-day training in our brief intervention
model, enabling the practitioner to
limit their involvement while at the
same time providing valuable support
to the couple's relationship within
the family setting. Includes the crib
card - a handy tool for exploring
relationship stress.
Video resource training pack- designed
as a half-day workshop for midwifery
and health visiting teams. This training
can be facilitated in-house or by
an external trainer.
