Booking training
Training offered by One Plus One is delivered by two trainers from our experienced freelance team at a venue that you choose and book to suit your participants.
Costs: £350 per participant
Target audience - criteria for selection of participants
The three-day Brief Encounter® course is relevant to all frontline family workers from health and social care and their multidisciplinary teams, who in their day to day work find themselves in a position to inform and support couple / parental relationships and would find benefit from using the skills of a brief intervention model.
Course timetable
Each Brief Encounters course lasts 22 hours divided equally over three days. It is divided into Day 1 followed by Days 2 and 3 together, following a recommended interval of approximately 2-3 weeks to allow for consolidation, reflection and a chance to gain experience with skills learnt.

Training offered by One Plus One is delivered by two trainers from our experienced freelance team at a venue that you choose and book to suit your participants.
Cost: £90 per participant.
This one day workshop is an introduction to using the Brief Encounters® framework and skills, supported by evidence based materials. This is particularly useful for groups with a diverse knowledge and skills base, where information about couple and parental relationship will add value to their work.

If you wish to access a one day workshop to train parent educators to deliver the 3 module course to parents or family support workers One Plus One can put you in touch with independent trainers who can arrange a training day directly with you.
Note: You will need to order and submit payment for a copy of a Workbook for facilitators for each participant at least four weeks in advance of planned training
